Akwaaba and thank for your blog, I've been living in Ghana (Bolgatanga)for some month and I really have so much great memories when I look at your blog. Even if the subject of this picture is definitly showing one of the darker side of humanity
It must have been absolutely terrifying to the captured people, being marched into these dungeons, not knowing what was beyond, whether they would live or die.
I cannot even imagine the journey across that vast ocean to the "New" World and then being rounded up for auction on slave blocks like cattle. These captured human beings could never in a million years even begin to imagine the hell they would endure.
Knowing the fate that awaited these slaves, this picture is just heartbreaking.
